  6. I just wanna make a comment on Joe’s presentation.

I think he has done really a great job with that fabulous idea.

I particularly like the idea that originated from those ancient pictures that suggest mysteries or tasks to be solved.

Having a great party for those who made it till the end of the game is also an interesting idea to promote interactivity in the internet.

I love the video that Joe has shown in class, the one that shows the crazy crowd who participated the game for the Batman movies. I have never seen such a scene like this before and it had certainly widen my horizon. The game was such a huge success to make the whole America goes crazy about it.

Overall, i like the presentation and the idea!

  8. Hey Jacinta, thanks for the positive feedback on my presentation, I’m glad you enjoyed it. The concept of viral marketing is something that I only just discovered and I have found it quite interesting just how far in advance movies are being marketed these days. Australia seems to be lagging a bit in regards to taking advantage of newer technologies and as mentioned, we do have a much smaller population however I don’t mind if we start the trend.

  10. I thought the presentations by Kym & Tegan were both great.

Kym: As a fan of the ‘choose you own adventure’ series, it was refreshing to see the idea reinvented and adapted to a contemporary medium. I agree that, as Edwin pointed out, it would be a really fun method for the younger generations to experience creative writing.

Tegan: I really appreciated the videos you showed, as I don’t consider writing to be one of my stronger points it’s always a bonus when I get introduced to well written productions. The idea for some reason reminded me of the ‘Lost’ series, probably because when they showed flash forwards in the later episodes, there could have been several ways in which the character could reach that conclusion.

  12. For a class that has interactive in its title, I didn’t really get to know anyone in the unit. Anyways, good luck to everyone.

  14. thanks Joe :)
I thought your idea was really interesting too!! Specially the way you use the whole riddle concept where people have to solve things – its creative because people have to work to find the answer and so continue in the game. Really heightens the interactivity!
